Taylor Swift Showcases Chandelier Sandals and Showgirl Glamour in ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ Album Art.
Living the life of a showgirl, Taylor Swift says, starts with a pair of René Caovilla Chandelier sandals.
On the morning of October 3, Swift revealed the artwork for her twelfth studio album, and the photo features her feet nestled in the luxury Italian brand’s sparkling heels.

Captured by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Swift delivers pure, campy burlesque while wearing the sandals and a feather-trimmed pink number by The Blonds from the 2025 fall line. The lavish matching headpiece and jewelry make the shoes sound their own trumpet. Slender straps and a fluid, sinuous ankle strap—Caovilla’s instantly identifiable serpent—drape in a cascade of dangling crystals, evoking a grand chandelier. The slender stiletto heel draws the eye even higher.
The Chandelier silhouette, a signature of the house, recently tripled its spotlight: first, it starred in a bridal capsule for Gaurav Gupta’s weightless Indian runway; a few days later, it returned under the hot lights of theVictoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Swift’s album covers have always doubled as mini-runway shows, from the violet-gown sweep of Speak Now to the raw tee of Reputation and the earth-toned plaid of Evermore.
Now she’s clearly cupping the spotlight and fanning it into pure polish. The name she’s chosen, The Life of a Showgirl, echoes glittering corridors and velvet ropes. The chapter kicked off with the Bejeweled video, where she danced with Dita Von Teese and the glitter dust of a hundred late-night revues.
For the new cover, the sparkle keeps multiplying: one image stacks ruby-red, bejeweled knee-high boots, a bodysuit, and satin gloves into a single overwhelmed gasp. In another, she lounges on scarlet theater seats, one leg lifted and punctuated by the Manolo Blahnik Hamedi––a jet satin pump with a strap of crystals that catches even the lowest peroxide of the house lights. The pose isn’t just sold, it’s sold-out.
