Amy Lee, Poppy & Courtney LaPlante Drop Explosive Collab Fans Can’t Stop Talking About

Amy Lee Joins Forces with Poppy and Courtney LaPlante

Pop-metal supergroup Phase One is shaking things up with its explosive debut track “End of You,” featuring someone you already know and love. The lineup? None other than AMY LEE, unbreakable voice of Evanescence, viral queen POPPY, and court-jester-metal mastermind COURTNEY LAPLANTE of Spiritbox. If you’ve ever fantasized about a triple-threat powerhouse, this is it in the flesh.

The song lands like a meteor, crashing hard with distorted guitars, haunting choruses and time-stopping verses, each singer lending their unique fire. LEE melts the walls with operatic delivery, POPPY laces the track with glitchy charm, and LAPLANTE flips between death growls and melodic cruelty like changing moods. The creepy synth intro feels like a warning—get ready, things will rattle.

Marking maybe the biggest surprise collab on the heavy-music calendar for 2025, Amy Lee of Evanescence, Poppy, and Courtney LaPlante from Spiritbox have dropped the powerful new single “End of You.”

The three queen-size vocalists first set the internet on fire one week ago Tuesday (August 26) with a single snap: the three of them, side-by-side, all gorgeous in flowing black hair. To keep the mystery alive, the shot came from only their personal Instagram accounts—no teasers from the official Evanescence or Spiritbox channels.

Later in the week, Amy dropped a tease video that kicked interest into overdrive: “End of You” shows the trio in slow-mo, taking vintage-glam stills in a chandelier-lit palace. Over the footage, a satiny, backward-masked instrumental knocks like a river of cracks, while Amy Lee’s voice repeats, “Because the end of you is the start of life for me.” Poppy and LaPlante shared singer-exclusive clips of the same footage, building the mystery one hashtag at a time.

And now—like a loud, glittering heavy-music “Lady Marmalade”—the long-awaited three-way collab has fully arrived.

And it’s massive, cranking out a blend of melody, raw screams, a mega-catchy hook, and bass-heavy nu-industrial riffs. You can crank it up right here.

Even if it’s billed as the trio’s first official cut, the three have been low-key fans and have crossed paths before. Poppy already joined Spiritbox to tear through “Soft Spine” at the Louisville stop of the 2024 Louder Than Life, while LaPlante sat with Lee for a 2021 Revolver piece where they swapped tips on mic technique, raw range, and the guts it takes to expose one’s feelings through song.

“End of You” keeps the collab train rolling for Lee in 2025. We first heard her team-up with Halsey on “Hand That Feeds” back in January, and the two unleashing it live on the Sunset Strip was pure fire. Plus, Lee dropped “Fight Like a Girl” along with K.Flay; both cuts landed on the official soundtrack for Ballerina.
