Kelley Wolf has checked into rehab.
According to People, The “Real World: New Orleans” alum, 48, is entering treatment while dealing with her divorce from Scott Wolf, several insiders say. Kelley went before a judge, 2 am on Tuesday, Sept. 2, and told a district court judge that she is going directly to a rehab program.
The decision follows her arrest on charges of doxxing and online harassment of her soon-to-be ex-husband. She has three pending misdemeanors: one count of electronic communications harassment tied to a phone exchange with Scott, 57, on Aug. 25, and two counts of leaking personal identifying info after events that happened a day later, the 26th.
According to Eonline, Court records and the presiding judge confirm that Kelley is facing three allegations tied to domestic violence. At her arraignment, she told the court, “I have informed everyone that needs to know, and I will be attending a [treatment center] starting on Sept. 12.”
Kelley added, “This is what was asked of me by both Bart Johnson and Scott Wolf for the last six months. All I wanted to do was leave a marriage. I am excited to go to [the treatment center]. I’m looking forward to it. My brother is taking me. It’s fantastic. It’s a great place. I have recommended it all the time as a mental health professional. So, on Sept. 12, I will be there for a month. I hope that helps.”
The judge denied a request from Summit County’s chief prosecutor, Wendy Crossland, to require evidence proving that Kelley complied with the terms of her bail, which included completing drug testing and either starting inpatient or outpatient mental health treatment before her next court date, set for Sept. 30.
The judge didn’t say anything yet about the prosecution trying to keep Kelley off social media while she’s released, and that request runs out tonight at midnight, on September 2.
1: Kelley entering treatment happened less than two weeks after she went straight to jail.
Kelley got booked into Summit County Jail on August 26. The cops say the charges are electronic communication harassment and electronic disclosure of personal identifying information.
Law enforcement moved that same day—she had been using her Instagram to post confrontational and personal info about other people. Authorities say the posts got more extreme and included doxxing friends and her own family. Pictures showed the kids—Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11. One post even showed Scott’s number, and she was tagging the kids in the same threads.

The posts led to stronger than expected fallout. They not only fed ongoing online harassment but also breached a court-ordered agreement put in place just a few days earlier on August 26. This stipulation placed a strict social-media and press blackout on both. They couldn’t comment on one another, their marriage, their kids, or the divorce in any format. The couple also is forbidden to insult or belittle the other parent to their children—this rule covers both spoken and written statements.
Before authorities took Kelley into custody, she shared her version of events on her Instagram Stories. “The police are at my house to arrest me. I have no idea why,” she wrote. “I am not suicidal. I am no danger to anyone. I have done nothing. I am so scared. So confused.” The messages painted a frantic picture of her state of mind.
The next day, on August 28, police filed three charges against her: two class B misdemeanors for sharing private information electronically, and one count of class B misdemeanor for harassment through digital communications. Kelley walked out of jail the same evening.
A condition for Kelley’s release says she can’t drink alcohol or take any narcotic drugs unless a doctor orders them. She also has to go to inpatient or outpatient medical, behavioral, psychological, or psychiatric counseling.
Besides that, she can’t communicate, threaten, or visit Scott’s house where their kids live.
Scott recently filed a new temporary restraining order against Kelley. On August 26, Judge Richard Mrazik signed an order barring Kelley from any direct or indirect contact with Scott or their three children. The order says Kelley can’t threaten, stalk, harass, physically harm, or abuse Scott or the kids in any way that might cause injury.
The only time she can talk to Scott is during mediation with a court-qualified mediator for their divorce or custody case. Outside of that, she has to stay at least 300 feet away from him.
The entire situation started when Kelley first announced she was separating from Scott.
The whole story started on June 10 when Kelley posted on Instagram to let everyone know that she and her husband of 21 years were separating. She praised Scott as “one of the best fathers I’ve ever known and one of the best partners a woman could have the privilege of sharing life with.”
Kelley went on to say that he’s “kind, thoughtful, funny, and beautiful in spirit.” She then spoke about their three kids. “We both look forward to an extraordinary life centered around the most extraordinary children. My priority has always been their wellbeing — and my own healing. That will never change,” she promised.
Scott responded in a statement, saying that he asked for the divorce and called it “the most difficult decision of my life.” He added that the kids have always been and “continue to be the loves of our lives and our every priority.” He asked for privacy while they help the children through this new chapter.
