Taylor Swift’s Late-Night Return Makes a splash, Singer’s guest on ‘The Tonight Show’ teased in a video filled with Easter eggs. The artist on October 6th will be joined by Keri Russell and musical guest The Format to celebrate the release of her new album ‘The Life of a Showgirl’.
Taylor Swift is returning to late night television!
The 35 year old pop sensation will step out on the The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, in what is expected to be her 12th studio album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ on October 6th.
The news is out as of September 25, as Swift will be joined by Keri Russell and The Format on the NBC show.
This will be Swift’s 7th time on the show, as he is preparing to perform ‘Cruel Summer’. In a show of makeup on Instagram, Jimmy Fallon teased the news of the show saying it was Swift themed.
The Fallon, 51, is seen playing roulette in the video and puts his money on numbers 6, 10 and 25.
The spinning roulette wheel stops at number thirteen, Swift’s lucky number, much to Fallon’s disappointment that he didn’t win anything substantial. He replies, “Baby, that’s show business for you,” in reference to a term Swift has been using to promote The Life of a Showgirl.
The next thing we see is the comedian bumping into three women dressed as show girls, and one of them, who has not been identified, addresses him saying, “Excuse us, honey,” as the video comes to a close.
The clip, “Not a lot going on at the moment,” comes with a reference to the well known T-shirt Swift wears in the video for her song “22,” released back in 2013.

Since the release of her Tenth studio album, Swift has not appeared on the show since 2022. The singer has played a number of games including “Name That Song,” and “Box of Lies,” as well as performed, “New Year’s Day,” during her appearances.
She recently announced a new record is going to be released on the 3rd of October, a news he announced alongside her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother, Jason Kelce, during the New Heights podcast on August 12.
The album will have 12 tracks, one of which is a duet with Sabrina Carpenter on the title track.
Carpenter, 26, wrote on an Instagram Stories post where she shared the back cover of Swift’s new album which has the track list on it, “THE LIFE OF A SHOWGIRL, OCTOBER 3rd 🧡 i know someone who’s freaking out, and it’s me.”
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is on at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and the next day on Peacock.
