Drake Drops Bombshell on Bobbi Althoff: “Rhea Ripley Is My Muse” — New Podcast Explodes Online

Why Drake’s Rhea Ripley Comment Shocked Social Media

Drake’s love for wrestling has always been known, but his latest inspiration comes from one WWE star that stands out. During the Sept. 2 episode of Bobbi Althoff’s podcast, Not This Again, the Canadian rapper dropped a surprise when he called Australian wrestler Rhea Ripley his “muse.”

While scrolling around looking for Tyga’s page, he joked that his Instagram “explore” feed was only showing clips of the two-time WWE champ, who goes by real name Demi Bennett. Althoff asked who Ripley was, and that’s when the story dropped.

“She’s a wrestler, and she’s like my muse,” he replied. “But she’s… I’m the opposite of everything that she likes.” You could almost hear Althoff pausing, then chuckling.

Drake’s already got WWE cred–he showed up at the WWE Elimination Chamber event in Toronto back in March, according to VICE. Ripley, meanwhile, has been making headlines since she joined WWE in 2017. She’s known by a bunch of killer titles, from the “Eradicator” to “Nightmare.”

She even made history in 2019 by becoming the first ever NXT UK Women’s Champion. Plus, she’s a Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion, which means the resume’s already eye-popping. Drake showed love for the wrestling star on the premiere episode of Althoff’s fresh podcast, “Not This Again.”

Earlier in 2023, he popped up on a now-viral—and wiped—episode of Althoff’s breakout “Really Good Podcast,” a season the host says wrapped up last month.

“This one is staying up, probably,” Althoff noted in the episode recap of her chat with Drake. “The show is back, sharper than ever, dropping a brand-new episode every month. Think of it like a pumped-up version of my last show—same vibe, but way more fireworks and way less chance someone’s forcing me to hit ‘delete.’”
