“Grateful and so appreciative for the incredible team at The Skin Associates and their fast reactive work on removing this Basal Cell Carcinoma thank you ! Please don’t forget your sunscreen this weekend I promise you it’s not a face lift! I’d need a refund,” he said.

The Mayo Clinic suggests the avoidance and application of sunscreen can mitigate the risk of developing skin cancer. The medical center further explains, “basal cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer, carcinoma often presents itself as a slightly transparent bump on the skin, though it can have different appearances.”

Mayo further states, “Most basal cell carcinomas are thought to be caused by long-term exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from sunlight.”

The photograph displayed a large bandage covering his face close to his right ear, and a second image reveals stitches from the same incident. The “Masterchef” star is now supported by Holly Ramsay, his daughter, who affectionately remarked, “love you dad,” along with the organization Cancer Research UK.

The organization’s representative remarked:
“Glad to hear you’re doing well, Gordon, and thanks for raising awareness of how important it is to stay safe in the sun. Seek shade, cover up, and apply sunscreen regularly and generously.”

On Fox, Ramsay is currently featuring in “Gordon Ramsay: Secret Service.” The channel is simultaneously airing “Kitchen Nightmares” his former show, and the cooking competition series “Masterchef.”
