Hayley Williams Sequenced Release Is a Game Changer.

Hayley Williams has shared the official final tracklist for her album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, a project she teased earlier this year by releasing its songs out of order on her website and streaming platforms.

The newly sequenced album features all 17 tracks that arrived last July plus the bonus cut “Parachute.” Every song was produced by Daniel James, who helped Williams capture the raw, intimate sound she envisioned. Hayley composed, played, and recorded most of the instrumental parts, while Brian Robert Jones and Joey Howard layered on additional textures. For “True Believer,” she also enlisted Jim-E Stack, giving the track a punchy edge.

This official release comes only a month after the secret download link officially began circulating. Folks who ordered Hayley Williams’ Good Dye Young hair dye in August received a code that led to a hidden page where they could hear the full 17-song set, including fan favorites “True Believer” and “Negative Self Talk.” The same page held a “Misc” folder filled with performance clips, photos of a lyric book, and a preview of an eye-catching T-shirt.

Even though Hayley Williams pulled the songs after 24 hours, she slipped the full versions onto streaming services shortly after. Each track appeared as a single, complete with unique cover art, so fans started inventing their own tracklistings and launched hayleysingles.com to share their custom playlists. Some of those mixes nudged Williams to shape the running order of “Ego Death.”

In recent weeks, she’s ramped up the project’s rollout by dropping music videos for the title track, “Glum,” and “Kill Me,” the last of which was filmed in a sun-drenched garden.

Starting today, the physical “Ego Death” album is up for pre-order ahead of its November 7 street date. The record will land in classic black and a limited “Zissou Clear-Wave” pressing, plus six other colors: Highlighter Yellow, Marble Yellow, Orange Juice Splash, Crystal Clear, Grayscale Metallic Silver, and Poolwater Wave. An exclusive “Ego Gold Marble” will be shelved only in Tennessee shops, and 1,500 CD-Rs are ready for immediate shipment from her website.
