Lily Collins surprised everyone by popping up at New York Fashion Week this past Tuesday for the Calvin Klein runway, marking her first show here in 16 years. If her iridescent outfit were worn in “Emily in Paris,” there’d be no doubt about outfit-of-the-day approval.
She rocked a barely-there co-ord in bright, shimmering white that practically sparkled with the runway lights. The two-piece featured a cropped spaghetti-strap top paired with a sleek knee-length pencil skirt, and both were coated in a luxurious layer of glimmering scale sequins for that fish-scale vibe Calvin Klein loves.

To finish, Lily added a mini structured white handbag, silver strappy sandals, and a handful of delicate silver rings. Her hair stayed simple, and her makeup featured a rosy pink lip and the cute “soap nails” style everyone’s getting behind at the moment.
Seeing Lily Collins front-row at the Calvin Klein show totally clicks—she was the house’s new face for the spring campaign, and she nailed it. “Honestly, it was the biggest honor, like a dream exploded in confetti,” she said when Elle interviewed her. “As a kid, I’d rip Calvin Klein ads from magazines. The vibe was always classic, always cool.”
This was Collins’ first runway return to New York Fashion Week since 2009, the year she parked it front row at BCBG Max Azria, Lacoste, and Nicole Miller.
And she’s killing it. Collins just wrapped filming Season 5 of Emily in Paris and is juggling the sweetest side gig of all—being a new mom. She welcomed her daughter through surrogacy in January. Back in spring, she posted a cozy photo of cradle-snuggles and captioned it “utter bliss.” Yeah, she’s the envy of our dreams.
