TikToker Jazzmyn Wollfe recently shared her decision to dissolve her lip filler because it had migrated from her top lip over the years. In her video, she let viewers see the entire process, from the numbing gel to the tiny needle.

Just a few days ago, Jazzmyn posted the footage of her clinic visit. She said, “I’d rather have my natural lip line than a fill that keeps moving around,” before the dissolve started and her lip looked just a little more fresher than usual.,

“I haven’t had filler in about three years. Most of it has worn off, but I still see migration on my upper lip and I really don’t like it,” she said. “So I’m going to have it dissolved.”
In the TikTok video, Wollfe—a Canadian singer-songwriter—shared the whole experience of dissolving her lip filler. She went to the Subtly You clinic in Ontario, had her lips numbed, and worked with cosmetic nurse injector Shawna Leifso to smooth the shape back to how she wanted it.
Lip fillers are tiny injections of hyaluronic acid, a substance that naturally occurs in the body. They give lips a plumper look and usually last 12 to 18 months. If someone wants to reverse the look sooner, they can have hyaluronidase, a dissolving enzyme, injected to break the filler down more quickly than the body would on its own.

“Wow, that girl was honestly the best, I’m still buzzing,” Wollfe said, pulling her top lip into a playful pout after stepping out of the clinic. “Yeah, the needle bites stung a lot, and this side is a balloon right now.”
The next morning, she dropped a clip showing dark little bruises dancing along her lip line, a normal postcard after this kind of visit. Then she talked about why she finally decided to break up with her lip filler: migration showed up at the party again.
Migration means the hyaluronic acid, instead of staying where it was told, decides to go on a little side trip, resulting in uneven lips or a slight off-centered smile. It can crop up when the injector is slightly off, when the filler is pumped in a little too much, or when the aftercare rules go out the window.
“I parked the needle in 2020 and that was that, or so I thought. But filler doesn’t wave goodbye; it usually just takes a little field trip,” Wollfe told her followers, keeping it real.
“My upper lip was really pushed out,” she said. “It got super puffy—like, the swelling was sitting right above the lip, not in the lip itself. That pushed the lip downward and sometimes made it look even smaller. So I decided I wanted a lip flip instead.”
Wollfe went for the lip flip right after dissolving her lip fillers and even posted the whole thing on TikTok.

Wollfe posted that it took about two weeks for her lip flip to show up, and when it did, she said she “really liked” it. She even shared a before-and-after shot to show the change.
