Paris Jackson And fiancé Justin Long Confirms Their Breakup!

Earlier this week, paparazzi photos of Paris Jackson crying in Malibu circulated online, prompting fans to worry about how she’s really doing. Now, she’s cleared the air: she and fiancé Justin Long have split.

“Those are breakup tears. y’all are fkn reaching again,” Paris, 27, posted Thursday on X, referencing the emotional shots taken on July 23 that showed her alone on the beach, visibly shaken and holding her phone.

Fans swooped into the replies with quick comfort. “People forget you’re human too. Whatever you’re going through, sending you strength and peace,” one commenter wrote.

“Plenty more fish in the sea,” another noted with a shrug.

“YALL BROKE UP OH MY GOSH IM SORRY FOR THAT WHAT,” a third person exclaimed.

“So sorry bb, hang in there, we love you,” someone else reassured, hoping to lift her spirits.

Paris and Long, both 47, first caught static in the same orbit back in 2022, meeting in the in-between of The Tonight Show, where she was the guest of the night and he was the one quietly juggling sound cables.

Their orbit was mostly low-key: studio voice memos, tour buses that barely hinted they’d been shared, and the occasional split-second cameo in a rehearsal clip. Then in December 2024, Paris hit the ‘gram and flipped the switch: his ring, framed inside a birthday post.

“doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind and i couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with,” she typed, a brightness that still pulses. “thank you for letting me be yours. i love you.” The slides rolled: Long kneeling, Paris bending down to meet him. That post, along with its shimmer, has since slipped away from her grid.

Up until a few weeks ago, the signal still felt loud. On July 18, Paris posted a new slice of her summer with Incubus and Manchester Orchestra, captioning it “it’s been a hell of a summer so far.” The images flickered by, and he was still there, half-hidden backstage, the same worn hoodie and that same unmistakable smile.

Only weeks before her announcement, the wedding was coming together like magic. “The dress is halfway done, the site is booked, and the astrologer gave us the date—classic L.A.,” she told Access Hollywood the previous June, all ease and laughter.

Now the timeline stings. One day the fittings and guest lists, the next the cropped crying-in-bike-shorts photo, and the split is posted like an afterthought.

Paris is no stranger to public heartbreak. In 2021 she quietly told Red Table Talk, “I keep my circle tight and my heart tighter.” The year before, after ending things with bandmate Gabriel Glenn, she wouldn’t shut the door on wedding bells but said the focus was music and the inner self.

Justin Long has kept quiet since the breakup—no statement, no word on whether there will be.
