During a recent Late Night with Seth Meyers appearance to promote A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, Colin Farrell disclosed that he was drawn to working with Margot Robbie after hearing her acclaimed off-screen persona. “You listen around, and word travels in this industry, it’s a pretty compact world after all,” Farrell explained. “I’ve crossed paths with folks Margot has previously collaborated with, and whether they be crew or co-stars, each and every one spoke about her with real reverence. At the film’s recently held New York City bow, Robbie—who bore her now-11-month-old son during the production—shared how Farrell’s on-set support transmuted the usual camaraderie into essential nourishment. “He was less a scene partner, more a menu curator, sending chippy sandwiches to my trailer like a guardian angel of caloric counsel.”
